About Clark Oilfield Measurement, Inc.

Clark Oilfield Measurement, Inc. was founded in 1981 to be a customer driven service facility for downhole pressure and temperature gauges. We have four Ruska automatic dead weight gauges and five custom oil baths used for calibration and long term testing. We also have an NC lathe, NC mill, and complete welding capabilities. We have our own custom plating system for in house repair of crystals.

Our customers include all of the major service companies as well as consulting for the oil companies. In addition, we have served as consultants for several of the pressure gauge manufacturers as an independent laboratory. We have also worked with the Tsunami Wave Detection Group in Japan using the Hewlett-Packard quartz pressure gauges.

Some of our custom capabilities and projects include:

  • 5+ year test of multiple gauges at constant pressure and temperature for drift characteristics and mean time between failure evaluation.
  • Permanent gauges installed in Africa for 7 years without failure.
  • Custom housings with integrated shock mounting and buffer assemblies.
  • Specialty welding of small diameter tubing tested to 40 kpsi.
  • Modification of all HP gauges and some other quartz gauges for improved performance or specific applications.
